Day 1

Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop at the equator.

After early breakfast drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda, the travel takes 8 to 9 hours’ drive by car but 1 hour and 50 by flight. Uganda gorilla trekking safari to Bwindi impenetrable national park makes you enjoy the scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside past small towns. Day 2

Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park.

Early in the Morning after breakfast you will have driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing at 8:00 am to know about the Gorilla tracking rules. After the briefing, you will set off for Gorilla trekking in the thick jungle. The forest covers an area of about 206 square miles (331 square km) at the southwestern edge of the western Rift Valley. Bwindi dense Forest is home to both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, it also hosts five other primate species, 113 mammal species, over 200 butterflies, and 360 bird species. The rangers will guide you through the village gardens and into the forest, escorting you through the bush and occasionally hacking the dense undergrowth with a machete as you search for the gorillas.

Day 3

Lake Bunyonyi for recreation activities and relaxation

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in the Kabale district, a scenic lava-dammed lake. The word Bunyonyi is a local name referring to “many little birds” due to the area’s plentiful birdlife, making it an exceptional spot for bird fans. In Lake Bunyonyi, you can relax and choose from several activities, including a boat cruise to one of the lake’s most historic islands, swimming, or zip-lining etc. All these adventure activities offer an amazing experience. You’ll devote the night at one of the lodges on the lake shores.

Day 4

Depart to Kampala

Have a delicious breakfast in the camp or Lodge before travel back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch en route. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening.
