Ngorongoro, Manyara and Arusha Tour Overview

Ngorongoro, Manyara and Arusha Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Meet our professional driver tour guide in Arusha town, who will provide tour brief, after that we travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is famous of different animal species living within the area, which covers 230 km2 , dominated by woodlands , underground water forests and alkaline lake which made the park to be home of wildlife include cheetahs, African golden cats, Zebras, buffalos, giraffes, elephants, troops of baboon, flamingos and many other. After arrive to the park, we will have lunch at the picnic site, and game drive around the park, later dinner and overnight at the hotel/camp.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we start ascend to crater, it is one of the best places to spot all 5 of Africa’s famous mammals – lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants and buffaloes. Other animals found within the crater include hippos, jackals, reedbuck, waterbuck, wildebeest, warthogs, hartebeests, zebras, cheetahs and crocodiles. Wildlife viewing at the Ngorongoro is excellent throughout the year because the animals don’t migrate. We will enjoy a lunch in the crater picnic site, after that we travel to the Tarangire National Park for dinner and overnight at the hotel/campsite.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park to Arusha Town

Wake up early and have a breakfast, then start a game drive. Tarangire National Park is the largest park elephant population with over 300 elephants. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park; also the area is a great birding destination, with over 500 species living in the park. We can see Greater Kudu, Waterbucks, Oryx and so on. We return to the lodge for lunch after which we will depart to Arusha town.
