Arusha, Ngorongoro and Manyara Tour Overview

This 5-day safari takes you through Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations, beginning with Tarangire National Park, known for its baobab trees and large elephant herds. You’ll visit a traditional Maasai village en route to the iconic Serengeti, where endless plains host big cats, wildebeests, and zebras. The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for diverse wildlife and over 500 bird species, before concluding at Lake Manyara, home to flamingos, hippos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions.

Arusha, Ngorongoro and Manyara Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from hotel and then drive to Tarangire National Park for its beautiful landscape. The park is home for a variety of different habitats, including grasslands, woodlands, wetlands and richness of ancient baobab trees having a lot number of elephants. The park attracts huge herbs of herbivores and thus attracts predators like lions, leopards, wild dogs, buffaloes and elephants. Later on, will go to the Tarangire river picnic site and have lunch. Then proceed with the game drive before go to hotel/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park, on our way to Serengeti we would visit Maasai Village the famous tribe in Tanzania who still enhance their traditional way of living such as way of dressing. Later heads to Serengeti going direct to hotel/camp for overnight.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Before sunrise, we start game drive to see highest densities of leopards, millions of wildebeests, zebras and antelope. Have lunch then proceed with afternoon game drive to see other part of Serengeti where hippos swallow in on our way to Ngorongoro crater.

Day 4

The Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning we will go to crater to see the incredible density of wildlife within the area, including over 500 bird species, and the importance of conserving them and their habitat. After lunch will do a game drive before going back to hotel/camp.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Starting from Hotel/Camp we will go to the Lake Manyara National Park famous for a large number of greater and lesser flamingoes who surrounding the lake which has alkaline as its food and also to see tree-climbing lions (it depend on the weather to see them). Visit the hippo pool for a close look of hippos and the hot spring (it depend on the weather to rich to the place).
